I decided on the name “Polo" when I bought him. When I bought him, he was in the middle of his molt, so when I held him, the molt skin kept falling off my clothes. That's how I came up with the name “Polo". That is, I realized that there are possibility that I will name all the reptiles I bought during the molt as “Polo". Since Polo came our home in September, Polo has been frolicking around in his cage with great energy. As a layman, I thought it was a very healthy thing for him. But looking back on it now, I don't know if it was a good thing or not. Maybe Polo were just eager to escape. These days Polo seem to be an arboreal creature anyway, and if we buy them a cork tree, he will always cling to the tree and never leave it. Around mid-October, Polo stopped busking for a period of time and even started to avoid busking spots. We thought maybe the busking light was too weak and not warm enough, so We decided to change the busking light. The busking light I used was the GEX Exotera Solar Glow UV 80W.
There is no doubt that the temperature in the cage has gotten significantly warmer. However, Polo still refuses to busk and becomes an arboreal creature. It is still the same. However, We were told by the vet that reptiles don't get better quickly once they get sick, so we will try to be patient. Also, not all that bad, Polo has recently stopped having diarrhea and bloody stools thanks to the fact that he's eating mainly a liquid diet. And since rankin's dragon is supposed to be from a country with four seasons, we decided to put the busking lights back on, thinking it would not be a good idea to overdo it and keep it warm all year round. We hear that the bigger rankin's dragon get, the more mature they become. We will learn and grow together while doing regular checkups and talking to the store clerk who bought it. Thank you so much for reading.
