Since yesterday, when Polo blinks, it's weird. When he opens his eyes, there's a film-like residue. Only his right eye is like that. He blinked over and over again and seemed to be trying to appeal to me that something was wrong. ＊This is a warning. If you don't like it, please don't watch it. I checked on him for a day, but even after a day, the problem with his eyes did not go away. In fact, he spent more and more time with his eyes closed. I took him to the hospital the next day.
It could be due to an inflamed blinker membrane
Polo is frightened when he go to the hospital. He starts shaking and clinging to my finger and won't leave. It may be that he still has the memory of his previous blood draw. He didn't blink at all in front of the doctor, maybe because polo was nervous or wary. Polo kept his eyes open. When I asked the doctor to check the video of polo's blinking that I had taken since the doctor could not confirm polo's symptoms, the doctor said that polo's blink membrane was probably inflamed. The doctor asked me if I wanted to wait and see or put eye drops on it, but I decided to put eye drops on it. He gave me a prescription for eye drops and I've been putting one drop a day. Even so, polo still closes his eyes these days. We will visit the hospital again this month. And I have decided to replace the basking light. We will try a slightly weaker one, considering the possibility that the ultraviolet rays may be damaging his eyes.＊The lights shown at the end of this blog were purchased after this. I really hope he gets better.
