Polo's health problems
Our Rankin's (Lawson's) Dragon, Polo, has been listless since mid-October; he came our home in September, and back then he was frolicking in his cage and would eat at the first sight of a cricket. Lately he has diarrhea, bloody stools, often meditates, and has a decreased appetite, etc. Now when the crickets come, they don't want to eat at all. That’s going on.
His weight has dropped from 62 grams to 57 grams in a month, which makes us very anxious. Polo's first hospital visit

We think that force-feeding would be stressful for Polo, so we really didn't want to do it too much, but we did our best to keep going. He struggles at first to open his mouth. Even though he was biting my hand, I opened his mouth to feed him, and he started to eat the food quietly.

After two weeks, Polo's weight went from 57 grams to 64 grams, and he's been running more often than before, and he's not closing his eyes as much. He still had diarrhea and bloody stools, so he went to the hospital to have a stool examination. The results showed no parasites and he was getting better, so we decided to continue the current treatment. But we have to do something about the bloody stool… We will do the best for Polo will get well.
